How do I get paid for orders on Shopify Collective?
When a customer buys your product through a retailer's store, the retailer collects the full payment and owes you a share based on the cost price of the product plus shipping. With automatic payments turned on, the amount owed is debited from the retailer's Shopify Payments balance (if they have sufficient funds) and transferred to your balance automatically once you fulfill the order.
If automatic payments are off, you and the retailer need to agree directly on a manual payment method and terms, such as invoicing or a bank transfer. It's best practice to ship promptly once an order is marked Paid, and hold off on orders still shown as Payment pending.
