Why is a vendor's product missing its image on the marketplace?

Updated on Sep 08, 2026

A product only imports once it has at least one image. If a vendor saves a new product and adds photos a few minutes later, a product created in that gap can arrive on the marketplace with no picture — and if the integration's sync scope is set to Price and Stock Only, that gap is permanent, since that scope never updates images afterward.

No action is needed to fix this going forward: once an image is added on the vendor's side, it's pulled in automatically on the next sync. This applies across all of Common Goods' eCommerce integrations, including Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, and Squarespace. Removing every image from a vendor's product afterward does not remove the product from the marketplace.
