How do I verify my tax registration status for Shopify Collective?
Suppliers based in Canada, the UK, or the EU must verify their tax registration before using Collective. Your tax ID and billing address are pulled from your Shopify Taxes and General settings respectively. From Collective: Supplier > Settings > Tax registration status, you confirm or enter your GST/HST number (Canada) or VAT number (UK/EU) along with your billing address, then verify. If your setup shows as Ineligible because you're on Manual Tax, you'll need to switch to Shopify Tax, Basic Tax, or a supported third-party tax app first. For UK suppliers, the VAT number you provide is visible to retailers you're collecting tax from.
