Sugar Sandwich Design Studio is the home of Grow Along Babywear®, our exclusive line of growth-spurt friendly clothing for babies and kids. All handmade in my home-based studio in the coastal community of Qualicum Beach BC on Vancouver Island. Quality, handcrafted apparel designed for a lasting fit – that's our trademark.

I am a retired Home Economics teacher and love to sew. When my first grandchild came along, I was motivated to begin sewing cute and tiny clothing for babies and kids. When I realized how quickly things were outgrown, I started focusing on design features that would make the clothing growth-spurt friendly. All my handmade products are designed for long-lasting fit and to stand up to the wear and tear of toddlers. Using top quality European-made cotton stretch fabrics, all items are handmade in my home-based studio in Qualicum Beach BC on Vancouver Island.
