Mathieu Jean grew up as an adventure tourism guide, until a shoulder injury changed his path. What stayed with him was a family legacy of working with his hands, including a carpenter's chest passed down from his grandfather.

That legacy shapes every piece we make. Since taking over RDB WoodWorking in 2017, Mathieu's built on one philosophy: real wood, made to last, not thrown away. It's why our kids' furniture and toys skip the plastic, built solid enough to survive more than one growth spurt and get handed down instead of replaced.

Every item is made by hand in our Rimouski workshop. We're a small Quebec team, not a big factory, and we've grown one family at a time, because parents keep telling other parents about us.
