The market was seriously lacking in quality, clean hair care that addressed curly hair from a professional standpoint. As a curly hair designer, this became extremely frustrating. Earning my fellowship in Trichology (hair and scalp restoration), as well as spending years studying formulations under big-brand chemists, I quickly realized we needed to bridge the three specialties to come up with the best formulas for curls.

After approaching a manufacturer who didn't want to work with the smaller-batch formulas, required for our recipe to be successful, we had a family meeting and decided to open our own manufacturing facility. How hard could it be, right?

Hundreds of formulas later, and with many dollars poured down the sink, we had success and were on our way with arguably some of the most beautiful formulas. We're now a family run business making curly dreams come true!
