Heidi is a linocut artist, printer, and small business owner who settled in New Brunswick when she fell in love with the ocean. She carves the very best of what the Maritimes has to offer, creating lines of natural, nautical and regionally themed art for tea towels, coasters, totes and journals.

Everything is eco-friendly and all inks are water-based. All of her products are hand drawn, hand carved and hand printed in St. Stephen New Brunswick. Holdfast Ink has grown from a little kiosk at farmer's markets to a well established wholesale supplier of beautiful, useful, goods to over seventy locations in just a few years. Heidi’s art is beloved by tourists and locals alike.

Antiquing with my mom instilled in me a love of nostalgia and sentimental memories of place and time. My art keys into those pieces that form our communities and build into who we are. I create beautiful useful goods by printing my hand drawn, hand carved and hand printed art on those items that find their ways into the suitcases of tourists, on the shoulders of farmers market shoppers and hanging off your kitchen stove to dry your dishes with memories.
