Being an entrepreneur is a bit of a “family business” for founder, Sarah Takforyan. Her father started his own business where she helped out as a kid. Years later, with her degree in international business in hand she realized that she was not cut out for the corporate world. In 2016 with a commitment to eliminate artificial flavours and colours by 2030, and inspired by France’s vibrant candy culture, Sarah created her first start-up “la Boîte a bonbons” a company offering gluten-free, fat-free, and ultra-fresh candies in exclusive mixes. This year, the company re-branded as “C’est Bon Bon” and her candies are available in over 3-thousand retailers in Canada, and online.
