"When I was young we visited a rock garden just outside of Bend, Oregon every year that had the most amazing structures and sculptures built entirely out of rocks. My sister and I loved these visits but if I'm honest out favourite part wasn't the beautiful rock artwork; it was the peacocks roaming the grounds. Every year we put a large amount of effort into collecting as many peacock feathers as we could, especially the neck and back feathers. This qiult was inspired by those childhood visits, blending the colors and shapes of the feathers with the hard geometric edges of the rock structures. Plume is made up of quarter log cabin blocks set on point to give the feeling of cascading feathers."

The quilt comes with the Kona Solids needed to complete the quilt top. Not sure what fabric to use for the backing or binding? Message us at info@piecefabric.co, we would love to help you put something together!
