P"One of Oregon's most jaw dropping natural sights is located along the Cape Perpetua coastline. Thor's Well is a seemingly bottomless gaping hole, right in the middle of the ocean. As the waves come in at high tide the water seems to drain away, earning the name of "Drainpipe of the Pacific." It's a mesmerizing sight to see endless waves of water pouring into it, and then occascionally shoot out in geyser like fashion. The design of Perpetua evokes a similar feeling of a constant swirling inward flow, and is created using simple blocks for a quick finish."
