"The Dayspring Quilt was inspired by the magic of Tolkien's
classic children's fantasy story, "The Hobbit". The colours
in the original design are bright and lively because of
the childlike influences of the tale, with Eastern design
elements apparent throughout. Green is the dominant
colour as it is invocative of spring, fresh pastures, and new
beginnings. I named this quilt pattern, "Dayspring" with a
prayer for a new start in a soon to dawn post COVID world."
