I do this work because I lived the pain I’m now helping others relieve it. For over a decade, I battled PMDD—a severe and often misunderstood hormonal disorder that affected my body, mind, and identity. My symptoms mimicked everything from anxiety to arthritis to early menopause, and yet I was repeatedly dismissed by doctors. I know what it’s like to be in pain, to not be believed, and to be told “it’s just in your head.”
That experience lit a fire in me—not just to heal, but to understand. I leaned into my background as a trained biologist from Dalhousie University, where I focused on neural plasticity and nerve regeneration. I studied plant compounds, inflammation, and the body’s own communication systems. And what I discovered changed everything: certain terpenes and plant molecules could naturally activate the body’s healing response and relieve pain—without pharmaceuticals.
That discovery became naturemary in 2020.
