The Bürgi watch, designed by Mathieu Blanchard, is inspired by the great master watchmakers to offer an exceptional piece. In homage to the discreet genius of the 16th century, Just Bürgi, this watch captures the spirit of the age of discoveries, from astronomy to mathematics. A visionary Swiss disciple of this era, Jost Bürgi excelled in everything he undertook. Thus, he created numerous scientific and astronomical instruments.

AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT
The automatic movements is an original and traditional feature. This technology takes advantage of gravity and converts the movements of your arms into energy. To ensure that the automatic watch does not remain still when inactive, it also has a power reserve with which it can continue to function for 35 to 60 hours, depending on the movement.

The grain of the wood, like a fingerprint, is unique, making each watch completely different. Each watch is crafted with great care, so it is a unique masterpiece. Take it to another level and make the experience even more special with a personalized engraving, engraved on the back of the watch.
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
The durability of a product mainly depends on its materials. For the Mathieu Blanchard Signature watches, we use durable materials over time.
For the glass, we use sapphire glass: It is the most commonly used glass on today's high-end watches. Sapphire glass is 10 times harder than mineral glass and 4 times harder than acrylic glass. It is virtually impossible to scratch except by diamond, which is even harder. This glass is laboratory-made.
For the watch cases and bracelets, we have made enormous efforts to produce using sustainable materials like natural wood, sourced sustainably, and matte-finished stainless steel. This finish allows for visual durability, as the wear of time is much less noticeable than when polished.

Loving nature, it is often a source of calm, comfort, and often the starting point of our jewelry & accessories collections. We are proud to offer watches made from noble and sustainable materials. Our main material is wood, which has a significant environmental advantage over other comparable materials: low carbon emissions during the production process and the biodegradable nature of the materials.
HANDMADE
Our watches are handmade with great precision, by a team with extensive experience. Each watch is naturally unique and made with real wood such as walnut and oak (from whiskey barrels).
