Sigh...we love the 1970's and our Beverly juliet veil is so reminiscent of that decade. This beautiful flower wedding veil is made of our signature Irish net and accented around the cap with the prettiest hand pressed silk organza and georgette flowers. Each petal is stiffened by hand, cut and shaped using vintage techniques to create the beautiful petals. Every single flower is hand beaded with a round glass pearl in various sizes to compliment the scale of the flower. The flowers all vary in shape and are stitched to the veil in a graduated scale from smallest to largest at centre front. This beautiful floral wedding veil is lightly gathered at the sides to create the cap shape and has 2 small silver metal combs stitched at the gathers and one larger comb at the centre front to allow for easy placement in your hairstyle. This beautiful veil is double layered and has a blusher layer as well. The perfect 70's inspired veil for the modern bride. ♥

The Fine Details:

  • Hand cut Irish net in 56" width with rounded hem
  • Blusher length is 35" when worn back and approximately 25" when flipped forward overtop of the flowers
  • Hand gathered at sides to create cap shape
  • 13 hand pressed silk organza and silk georgette flowers in various sizes stitched to veil with single glass glass pearl in centre of flower
  • 15 tooth comb at centre front stitched under flowers
  • 5 tooth combs under both gathers for extra support

Please note that this netting is extremely delicate and should be handled with care. We also recommend sliding bobby pins over the combs for a secure fit if needed.

Hi! I'm Blair, the Designer, Creative Director, Studio Sweeper and pretty much all things behind Blair Nadeau Bridal Adornments!
I always love knowing the story behind a brand, and people always ask how I got into doing what I love, so I thought I would share our story.
Back in 2008, I was working a pretty great job in the fashion industry and had recently graduated from Ryerson University (Toronto Metropolitan University) with a degree in Fashion Design. I had the fortune of travelling around Europe with this particular position and one fateful day on my first trip to London England, we wandered into Selfridges on Oxford Street. As we wandered through their fabulous shoe department and eating licorice pinwheels from the candy department, I stumbled into this little boutique that was filled to the brim of the most whimsical and fascinating headpieces and hats. I stopped dead in my tracks and thought...."this is what i'm going to do!". I had always wanted to be own my own business, but wasn't sure which path I wanted to walk down and there, in Selfridges, eating licorice, I discovered my path.

For a year, I taught myself everything I needed to know about feathers, veiling & traditional millinery techniques. On April 21st 2009, I took the leap and our little atelier was born. Our first muse were feathers and I created many a whimsical headpiece and headband using this medium...and eventually that naturally evolved into all things bridal millinery and jewelry.
I truly love what I do. There is so much joy and happiness when someone is planning their wedding and I feel truly honored to be a part of it. It's a true honor when a bride asks me to be a part of one of the most special and important days of her life.
