Aurifil Thread - Red Orange 2245 - 12wt

Aurifil thread is known among quilters as the best cotton thread you can find due to its versatility, strength, lustrous colour, and the fact that it produces virtually no lint. 

This is the heaviest weight thread that Aurifil offers and is perfect for hand applique, hand embroidery, hand quilting, cross stitch, embellishment, handmade lace, machine applique, blanket stitch, machine embroidery (especially for designs that use a longer stitch length), machine art quilting, Sashiko, redwork, lower looper serging, and longarm quilting. When using 12wt in a machine, it is recommended that a much thinner thread be used in the bobbin, like the 40wt.
