Story Behind This Soap
Celebrating Pride, Indigenous Peoples Month, and the beauty of being human — today and every day.
There is something beautiful about a rainbow.
Our City of Rainbows Soap was inspired by Prince Rupert, British Columbia — Canada’s rainiest city and the hometown of RavenSong owner Ali Assu. In a place where rain and ocean meet mountains and forests, rainbows are more than a rare occurrence. They are reminders of resilience, renewal, and hope. And when we look beyond our differences, what remains is community.
Kinship over division. Connection over fear.
The strongest communities are not built because everyone is the same. They are built because people choose to care for one another despite their differences. As we celebrate Pride Month, National Indigenous Peoples Month, and the many stories that make up our collective community, we invite you to continue learning, listening, supporting, and celebrating—not just in June, but throughout the year.
