At the age of 16, while in my final year of high school, I had the opportunity to start out as a professional piercer. I had already accumulated a year of training and benefited from the support of an experienced person. A year of learning, doubts, energy, and, sometimes, a dose of naivety: I was driven by a crazy desire to make my passion my profession in the short term.
You have surely heard that young entrepreneurs must be ready to do anything to succeed? Well, I fully subscribe to this principle. I put all my heart and all my energy into making this adventure evolve. At the age of 18, I was able to affirm that living fully from my passion for piercing was indeed possible. I would like to express my gratitude to my mother for her invaluable support. With modest savings accumulated over the years, combining income from body piercings and freelance contracts in advertising/graphic design, I embraced the entrepreneurial adventure. Driven by my enthusiasm and determination, I asked my mother for help to make my dream come true: opening a physical store dedicated to body piercings. Against all expectations, after a frank 30-minute family discussion, she accepted.
On February 8, 2018, with a heavy heart and with emotions difficult to describe, I unexpectedly announced the closure of Bijouterie Le Duo . An interesting offer, too good to refuse, came my way. After reflection, I considered that it was a perfect opportunity to enrich my experience, and therefore, a wise decision.
An incredible dose of love was felt until the end of this month. Some shed tears, others hugged us, and some went out of their way to greet us and wish us good luck in our future endeavors.
Everything was liquidated, and we left our second home on March 1, 2018.
It was in 2019 that I finally dared to realize my ultimate project: launching a boutique of jewelry, accessories and favorites in my name.
