About The Brand
OC Beauty
Sault Ste. Marie, ON
Founded: 2012
OC Beauty creates vegan, cruelty-free bath and body products handcrafted in small batches with ethically sourced Canadian ingredients. Founded in 2012 with a goal of offering Canadians bath and body products that nourish the skin while being kind to the planet. The OC Beauty mission has not changed: make self-care simple, enjoyable, and accessible without compromising on quality or values.
Owner, Shayna Boucher’s story is indeed one of “Serendipity”. Shayna started working at OC Beauty in Sault Ste. Marie in 2020, as a retail/social media member, thinking it would be just another job. She very quickly fell in love with the OC Beauty passion for high-quality, natural self-care products. By 2021 Shayna became one of the company’s graphic designers, putting her entire heart and soul into helping rebrand the company. Two months into that role, the owner at the time, approached her and asked, “Will you buy the business?” And as Shayna says, with a full heart and head full of dreams, she said YES. Now what started as just a job has become her life’s work.
