Stinging Nettle

$9.95

What is stinging nettle?

Common nettle, also known as stinging nettle, dioecious nettle, great nettle, or tall nettle, is a wild plant found throughout Canada. Its leaves, hand-harvested mainly in the Lac Saint-Jean region, are dried and then ground, and can be used in cooking or as an infusion.

How to use nettle?

Use it in cooking, in soups or broths. An ideal ingredient to create your own infusion blend, enhanced with other plants from our forests or your favorite herbs.

A plant also prized in DIY cosmetic projects and preparation of mother tinctures, particularly in hair lotions due to its effect on oily, brittle, or dull hair, to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp and nourish hair roots.
