Yvette is a French-Canadian born artist from a small town in Northwestern Ontario called Fort Frances.

"My creativity and passion for art developed at a very young age when we spent every summer at our cottage on Rainy Lake. With no running water, electricity or plumbing, to pass the time we played board games, swam, and spent countless hours sitting our hour picnic table painting and drawing everything I saw around me. Art helped me pass the time and I became very good at drawing at a very young age. It made me happy and extremely content just creating. The freedom to scribble whatever I felt was euphoric, and to this day, I feel the same way. "
